Accomplishments

  • Saved institution $3,500 annually by placing recruitment ads directly with journals.

  • Instrumental in assembling information for a successful 5-year external review of Pediatrics Department.

  • Coordinated Children’s Hospital Note Care fund-raiser which netted $500 in sales first year.

  • Coordinated Children’s Fall Carnival where all expenses were covered by donations and/or volunteers and was attended by 1500 children and parents.

  • Recognized by Managers and peers for providing “Above and Beyond” assistance.

  • Named “Administrative Professional of the Year 2004” by the Galveston County Chapter of IAAP.

  • Served as Chapter Webmaster for eight years for the Galveston County Chapter of the International Associations of Administrative Professionals (IAAP) which was voted one of top 10 websites in 2001.

  • Served as Chapter Secretary for the fiscal year of 2005-2006 for the Galveston County Chapter of the International Associations of Administrative Professionals (IAAP).
